Lutece Anthony
Description:
Lutece has blonde-streaked brown hair that can be seen in a variety of styles, all of which she believes to be the embodiment of good taste and fashion. She has blue-green eyes and stands at four foot eight, although she hopes to grow to be around five six. Not too short, but not obnoxiously tall. Although she was once one to wear Muggle name brands as much as possible, Lutece is starting to think that they are too plain and ordinary, not to mention that they don’t fit with some of her jewelry. Her sense of style is currently changing in the direction of understated sophistication. Lutece finds robes pointless and wears them as infrequently as can be gotten away with.

Personality:
Coming to Sonora as a bossy, controlling, judgmental, and self-assured Muggleborn who did not believe in magic, Lutece cannot be said to have come a long way in becoming more personable. While still considerably self-assured and certain that many respect her simply because she is that sort of person, Lutece now only objects to the existence of magic due to the principle of the thing. If you were to catch her being completely honest with herself (a highly unlikely event), she would even admit to liking Sonora Academy. The Crotalus simply adores the game of Quidditch to the point where it almost surpasses her love of soccer; she is the reserve Keeper on her House team.

History:
Lutece was born in Maryland to Caitlyn and Martin Anthony. Lutece’s mother, Caitlyn, is a fairly successful real estate agent with an older daughter, Melissa, from her first marriage. Martin coordinates science fiction conventions. Although they have (thus far) remained together, Lutece’s parents have a fairly rocky relationship, whose problems were only exacerbated when Martin insisted that Lutece be sent to Sonora, despite Caitlyn’s better judgment. Beyond the whole magic problem, Lutece lead a fairly normal life before receiving her acceptance letter. She has twin siblings, Grace and James, who are three years younger than her and have not shown any magical inclination. Grace swims, while Lutece plays soccer (now Quidditch as well), and Melissa is a varsity cheerleader. James is the family genius, a fifth grader to Grace’s fourth. The family rarely saw each other at the same time before Lutece went off to boarding school. This has not changed. Historically, Lutece has gotten along with neither one of her parents, although since her first year her relationship with her mother has deteriorated and that with her father has strengthened for reasons she has been unable to determine.
