Elizabeth Lavine
Description:
Lizzie is of a medium height for a girl her age, with a toned physique due to her love of quidditch. Cool blue eyes framed by black hair provide contrast to Liz's suntanned skin. Otherwise, her physical attributes are rather normal.

Personality:
In her purest form, Lizzie is a fun sort. Growing up with her two brothers taught her that even when life deals you a hard hand, you've got to use it to your best advantage. An avid quidditch fan, Liz practically lives the game, which is an easy thing with one of her brothers being on a newly formed NQL team. From a young age, Lizzie learned to be an independent and self-reliant person. One could even go so far as to say that her personal strength surpassed her physical strength, and between those two, Liz could do anything she put her mind to.

History:
The Lavines of Louisiana, a longtime political family, met tragedy in the deaths of Matthew and Anne Lavine. At her parents' deaths, Lizzie was 6 and her brothers Javon and Brett were 11 and 16. The event left their guardianship to the former governor's brother and sister, the childrens' Uncle William and Aunt Rose. Aunt Rose took it upon herself to raise the three of them, filling their heads with the pureblood ideals of superiority and preservation of magic blood. The three Lavines continued on their separate paths; Brett's leading him in their father's footsteps, Javon towards the pro-quidditch world, and Lizzie into a direction completely unknown- school. Their parents both graduated from Sonora, as well as Brett, while Javon placed out of his class and graduated at the age of 16 from a school in Baton Rouge. That left Liz to follow her elder brother's path to Sonora. A sorting into the Pecari House later, Lizzie found herself in a social predicament. All of her social values (half- and mudbloods were unacceptable) came into question. Why was she believing in it all? It wasn't anyone's fault that they were born who they were. So why did it matter so much? That train of thought marked the beginning of the New Lizzie- a girl who no longer allowed her Aunt Rose to tell her what to do, and stood up for what she believed in. It was a long and hard struggle socially for the first few years, but Liz now stands firmly behind her friends, regardless of whose family they belong to.

Elizabeth's greatest desires in the world are to be powerful and to have people on whom she can trust.
